SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
(Public Notice of Filing)
The Southland C-9 School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 8, 2025, election. Interested persons may file at the superintendent’s offices located at 500 South Main, Cardwell, MO 63829, building E, room 201.
Filing will begin on December 10, 2024 at 8:00a.m. and will continue during the district’s regular business hours, which are Tuesday through Friday from 7:30a.m. to 3:30p.m. except for the first and last day of filing. Filing will not occur on days that the school district’s central offices are closed due to inclement weather or early out days. Filing will also not occur during the Christmas break beginning December 23, 2024. On December 31, 2024, central office will be open from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m., this will be the final day to file.
There are two positions available with three-year terms each.
